I must admit the picture is a connection of two extremely different styles. There's a dirty, scratched, grungy tap in the upper part of the frame and a nice, soft, minimal droplet in the bottom. And I think it works.
I've seen so many of these water tap macro shots that I ca't even count. Even if the idea is, well, slightly overused, you have managed to get something new in this. The colour tones are perfect - you haven't used the brightest shades of blue, which I believe would first come to one's mind.. Good job
Haha no problem I've noticed the exact same thing - actually, for a second I wondered if my comment was too rude or something. I know it's not, really, but it seems that people never say anything negative about others' artwork here
Perfect focus, timing and colour , could hardly be better, but as you'd like some constructive critique, maybe you could try to focus more on the drop to get a clearer reflection there, but I actually dunno if that's possible with a falling drop hehe

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
